This is a ‘thank you’ to everyone who participated in the weekend and helped us -Mike Brenner (Orage Masters, Whistler Trip Winner)

What an amazing weekend at Whistler that exceeded all of our expectations! We could never have imagined how great of an experience this trip was going to be. We want to start out by saying a huge thank you to EVO and Orage for the contest and taking care of us for the extended weekend.  Also, thank you to Dakine and Oakley for the wonderful ski gifts – what a great surprise!

Even with all the gear and Whistler experience, what we took away most from the weekend was how great the EVO crew was in every aspect of the trip. From the very beginning, everyone treated us as friends they had not seen in several years – all smiles and excitement!

When we arrived, we were picked up by Sunny and given a quick tour of the Seattle area and headed to EVO to meet everyone. Once there, things just kept getting better. We ended up getting a couple items – boots for me, which I wanted to make sure to thank Tom, who spent the entire morning getting them set up to fit like a glove for me. From there, Chris set us up with a great pair of demos, which were amazing – K2 Kung Fujas!

We then got packed and headed up to Whistler in the, now infamous, Dodge Sprinter – driven by professional ‘ex-FedEx’ driver Molly Hawkins. Getting to know the crew on the trip up to Whistler was one of the highlights of the trip – from classic movie lines to ridiculous songs being belted out by everyone in the van, it was easy to see how everyone interacted and enjoyed life. There is no doubt that everyone would have walked 1000 miles for “Yolanda!”

EVO has become a staple for us and we will continue to spread the word of not only the company, but the great crew that works there. To everyone we met, your passions to enjoy life and enjoy the things you love are exceptional. For us, EVO is no longer a company; it is a group of great individuals who are dedicated to their profession. Thank you so much for the great experience; it is definitely one we will never forget! We look forward to hearing from everyone – we will make sure to keep in touch!

Thanks Mike, we were so stoked to have had you and Linsday along for the ride! You covered most of the trip, but how could you forget the epic Sushi Village shmorgesborg and Whistler village antics?!

March 4th Marching Band on the big stage!

And despite the torrential downpour, the Orage Master’s went off at the base of the mountain, k2 rocked their way all the way to the podium!!

And don’t forget the Journey, CCR, Bohemian Rhapsody, Viva La Hova, Girl Talk…and all the other sing a longs!

We will miss you guys!!
